A leading war expert has predicted that Russia‘s current mass advantage over Ukraine will begin to diminish by 2025. This assessment comes amidst ongoing military operations in Ukraine and concerns regarding Russia’s ability to sustain its offensive capabilities.

The expert, whose name has been withheld for security reasons, believes that Russia’s reliance on large-scale conscription and a shortage of advanced weaponry will significantly hinder its ability to maintain its current military strength. “While Russia currently boasts a larger army, their equipment and training standards are not comparable to those of NATO,” the expert stated. “They are already experiencing logistical issues and manpower shortages, which are only expected to worsen as the war drags on.”

The expert further emphasized the role of Western military aid in bolstering Ukraine’s defensive capabilities. “The flow of weapons and training from NATO countries has been crucial in allowing Ukraine to effectively resist the Russian offensive,” they said. “As Ukraine continues to receive support, its defensive capabilities will only strengthen.”

Looking ahead, the expert anticipates a shift in the battlefield dynamics. “By 2025, Russia’s mass advantage will have become a liability,” they explained. “Their inability to replenish their resources and their dwindling morale will make them increasingly vulnerable to Ukrainian counteroffensives.”
