Ronin vs Other Classes: Matchup Strategies

In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, understanding how the Ronin class matches up against other character types is crucial for success. Each class has its strengths and weaknesses, and knowing how to exploit these can give you a significant advantage in combat.

Against Builders:
Builders excel at creating complex structures quickly, which can be challenging for a Ronin to navigate. However, your Swift Strike ability can be used to quickly close the distance and break through their defenses. Use your blade to quickly destroy freshly built structures, keeping the Builder off-balance. Your Shadow Step can also be invaluable for sneaking up on Builders who are focused on their constructions.

Versus Snipers:
Long-range specialists can be a threat to Ronins, who excel in close combat. When facing a Sniper, use the environment for cover and close the distance using Swift Strike. Your Blade Barrier can be crucial for deflecting shots as you approach. Once in close range, a Sniper will struggle against your superior melee skills.

Dealing with Tanks:
Tank classes typically have high health and strong defensive abilities. In these matchups, patience is key. Use your mobility to wear them down, striking quickly and then retreating. Your Zen Focus ability can help you land precise hits on their weak points. Remember, your goal is to outlast and outmaneuver them, not to engage in a direct slugfest.
