Property Buyout Program for Landslide-Affected Residents
More than 80 property owners in Rancho Palos Verdes have applied for a $42 million Property Buyout Program aimed at helping residents affected by severe land movement. The program, operated in conjunction with FEMA and the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, aims to assist those whose properties have been red-tagged and deemed uninhabitable. This initiative is part of broader efforts to address the ongoing geological challenges in the region.
