Introduction:

Pokemon Go has introduced a new challenging Mega Evolution Raid for trainers to conquer: the Mega Aggron Raid. Mega Aggron is a formidable Steel/Rock type Pokemon who boasts an impressive set of stats and moves to make your battling experience memorable. In this article, we will discuss the best counters, weaknesses, and movesets to defeat Mega Aggron in Pokemon Go.

Weaknesses:

Mega Aggron’s dual typing of Steel and Rock comes with a few key weaknesses. These weaknesses are primarily attributed to Fighting-, Ground-, and Water-type moves. Utilizing these attack types effectively will give you an advantage in taking down this mighty foe.

Best Counters:

1. Lucario: One of the top choices to take on Mega Aggron would be Lucario, a Fighting/Steel type Pokemon. With its power-packed moveset consisting of Counter (a fast Fighting-type move) and Aura Sphere (a powerful Fighting-type charge move), Lucario can deliver devastating blows to Mega Aggron’s health.

2. Conkeldurr: Another excellent counter against Mega Aggron would be the pure Fighting type Conkeldurr. Armed with the movesets Counter (fast move) and Dynamic Punch (charge move), this brawny Pokemon can bring down even the toughest of opponents.

3. Machamp: An all-time favorite counter for many tough battles, Machamp can be an invaluable asset against Mega Aggron raids with its fast move Counter and charge move Dynamic Punch or Close Combat.

4. Garchomp: This Ground/Dragon type Pokemon will also prove effective against Mega Aggron thanks to its powerful Ground-type attacks like Mud Shot (a fast move) and Earthquake (a charge move).

5. Swampert: A popular choice among trainers, Swampert can make use of its Water and Ground typing with movesets like Water Gun (fast move) and Hydro Cannon (charge move) or Mud Shot and Earthquake when facing Mega Aggron.

Moveset:

Mega Aggron’s potential movesets in a raid are as follows:

– Fast Moves: Smack Down (Rock) or Dragon Tail (Dragon)

– Charge Moves: Heavy Slam (Steel), Stone Edge (Rock), or Thunder (Electric)

Having knowledge of these moves can help determine which Pokemon might make for the best counters during the battle, so be sure to take note of Mega Aggron’s moveset while in the raid.

Conclusion:

Defeating Mega Aggron is no easy feat, but with a carefully chosen team of powerful counters, trainers can emerge victorious. Remember to exploit Mega Aggron’s weaknesses to Fighting, Ground, and Water-type moves and pair your selected Pokemon with the right movesets. With the right preparations, trainers will be able to defeat this formidable foe and earn valuable rewards while powering up their own Pokemon roster. Good luck on your next Mega Aggron Raid!
