There are a number of essential components necessary for effective leadership training. These components must be tailored to the individual leader and the organization being trained for.

One of the most important aspects of any leadership training is the development of personal skills. This includes the ability to be patient, organized, and decisive. It is also important to develop a strong work ethic, as this is necessary for any leader.

Another important component of any leadership training is the ability to communicate effectively. Leaders need to be able to effectively communicate with their team and other stakeholders. This includes being able to listen and understand others, as well as being able to express oneself in a clear and concise manner.

Lastly, a leader must be able to execute their plans effectively. This includes being able to set goals, plan and manage resources, and monitor and adjust their strategy as needed.

All of these essential components are necessary for any leader to be successful. A good leadership training program will incorporate all of these components, as well as provide ample opportunity for practice.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
