I’m a liquid blush convert and these are 5 of the best I’ve ever tried

For years, powdered blush was the Mount Everest in my makeup bag; it was the peak I just couldn’t surmount with grace. The result was often a chalky or overly matte stamp that sat on my cheeks with as much subtlety as a neon sign. That is until liquid blush glided into my life, and I can confidently say, I’m a convert. Here are five liquid blushes that have earned a permanent spot in my beauty routine:

1.Glossier Cloud Paint – Imagine blending the softest, airiest whipped cream with a pigment that provides a glow-from-within flush, and you’d get Cloud Paint. It’s foolproof and buildable, allowing me to achieve a subtle tint or a more dramatic color payoff.

2.Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush – Selena Gomez’s makeup line did something incredible with this formula. It offers impressive staying power without feeling tacky or heavy on the skin, and the range of colors ensures there is a shade for every skin tone.

3.NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm – Taking their iconic powder blush shade and turning it into a liquid was nothing short of genius. It blends out beautifully for that perfect peachy-pink shimmer that works day or night.

4.Daniel Sandler Watercolour Liquid Cheek Color – This one comes with an artist-inspired brush and canvases my cheeks with its watercolor-like consistency. The delicate formula allows for sheer but buildable coverage that mimics natural skin.

5.Flower Beauty Blush Bomb Color Drops – These drops are like picking the ripest fruit from the blush tree – juicy and dewy without being overly glossy. I love mixing a drop into my foundation for an all-over radiance or applying it directly for a concentrated pop of color.

Each of these liquid wonders melds seamlessly into my skin for an endearing, healthy-looking flush that lasts all day, making me question why it took me so long to let go of powder and embrace the liquid rush!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
