Twitter Spaces is an exciting feature that allows users to engage in live audio conversations on the Twitter platform. If you’re new to Twitter Spaces, follow these 15 steps for a comprehensive guide on how to use this innovative tool.

1. Ensure you have the latest version of Twitter installed on your iOS or Android app.

2. Open the Twitter app and log in to your account.

3. Navigate to the Home tab at the top of your screen.

4. In the toolbar at the top of your Home feed, look for purple bubbles indicating active Spaces.

5. To join an active Space, simply tap on one of the purple bubbles.

6. In a Space, you can react with emojis or request to speak by tapping on the microphone icon at the bottom left of your screen.

7. If granted speaking access, remember to mute yourself when not talking by tapping on the microphone icon again.

8. To leave a Space at any time, click on the Leave button located in the top-right corner of your screen.

9. To create a Twitter Space, tap on the “Compose” button (feather quill icon) in the bottom right corner of your screen.

10. Select “Spaces” from the options that appear.

11. Add a relevant and eye-catching title for your Space.

12. Invite guests by either sharing a direct invite link or selecting profiles from your followers list.

13. Control who can join as speakers by selecting either “Everyone,” “People you follow,” or “Only people you invite.”

14. Schedule a future session or start your Space immediately.

15. Monitor and manage participants by pinning tweets, muting speakers, or ending the session when finished.

By following these 15 steps, you’ll be able to effectively use Twitter Spaces and engage in meaningful audio conversations with friends, followers, and like-minded individuals on your favorite topics. Happy tweeting!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
