Step 1: Gather Your Materials

To use an Aztec clay mask, you will need the following items:

– Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay or other high-quality bentonite clay

– Apple cider vinegar (ACV) or water

– A non-metallic bowl

– A non-metallic spoon or spatula

– A soft washcloth

– A towel

Step 2: Cleanse Your Face

Before applying your Aztec clay mask, cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser to remove any makeup, dirt, and oil. Pat your face dry with a clean towel.

Step 3: Prepare the Aztec Clay Mask Mixture

Add equal parts of Aztec clay and apple cider vinegar (or water) to the non-metallic bowl. Mix them together using the non-metallic spoon or spatula until they form a smooth paste. If the consistency is too thick, add more ACV or water as needed.

Step 4: Test for Allergies

Before applying the mask to your face, test a small amount of the mixture on the inside of your wrist or behind your ear. Wait about 10 minutes to see if there are any adverse reactions. If there is no irritation, proceed with applying the mask.

Step 5: Apply the Aztec Clay Mask

Apply an even layer of the mask onto your face using either your fingers or a brush, avoiding the eye and lip areas. You can also apply the mask to other areas such as the neck or décolletage.

Step 6: Let It Dry

Allow the mask to dry on your skin for approximately 15-20 minutes if you have sensitive skin and 30-40 minutes if you have normal skin. As it dries, you may experience tightening and slight tingling sensations. This is normal.

Step 7: Remove the Aztec Clay Mask

Once the mask has dried, use a soft, wet washcloth to gently remove it. Rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean towel.

Step 8: Tone Your Skin

After removing the mask, apply a gentle toner to your skin to balance the pH levels and remove any remaining clay residue.

Step 9: Moisturize Your Skin

Apply a lightweight moisturizer to your face to hydrate and nourish your skin after using the Aztec clay mask.

Step 10: Use Regularly for Best Results

For optimal results, use the Aztec clay mask once or twice a week, depending on your skin type and needs. With regular use, you will notice improvements in your skin’s texture, appearance, and overall health.
