If you have accidentally blocked someone’s number on your iPhone or iPad or if you wish to unblock a number, then you have come to the right place. Blocking someone’s number on iPhone and iPad is easy, but unblocking is also very simple. In this article, we will provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to unblock a number on iPhone or iPad.

1. Open the Settings app: To begin, open the ‘Settings’ app on your iPhone or iPad. The app icon looks like a gear.

2. Scroll down and tap on ‘Phone’: Once you are in the Settings app, scroll down and find the ‘Phone’ option. Tap on it to access its settings.

3. Tap on ‘Blocked Contacts’: You will see the option ‘Blocked Contacts’ in the Phone settings. Tap on it.

4. Find the contact you wish to unblock: In the Blocked Contacts screen, you will find all the numbers and contacts that you have blocked previously. Look for the name or number of the contact you wish to unblock.

5. Swipe left on the contact name or number: Once you have found the contact, swipe left on the name or number to reveal the ‘Unblock’ option.

6. Tap on ‘Unblock’: After you swipe left on the contact, you will see the ‘Unblock’ button. Tap on it to unblock the contact.

7. Confirm the action: A pop-up window will appear asking if you want to confirm the action. Tap on ‘Unblock Contact’ to confirm.

8. You’re done: Congratulations! You have successfully unblocked the contact. You can now receive calls and texts from that number again.

Conclusion:

Unblocking a number on an iPhone or iPad is a simple process that can be done in just a few steps. Remember that unblocking a number only allows the user to contact you again. It does not automatically restore any previous messages or call history with that particular contact. If you wish to retrieve the previous messages or call history, you will have to manually do it yourself. With this guide, you should now be able to unblock a number with ease.
