How to Turn on Location Services on a Mac
Location Services is an essential feature on your Mac that allows you to access all the apps that require location data. This feature allows your Mac to use GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other technologies to pinpoint your location and provide you with relevant information on your device. So, if you’re looking to turn on Location Services on your Mac but don’t know how, read on.
1. Launch System Preferences: Start by clicking on the Apple icon on the top left corner of your Mac screen. From the drop-down menu, select “System Preferences.” Alternatively, you can also access “System Preferences” by going to Finder > Applications > System Preferences.
2. Select Security & Privacy: In the System Preferences menu, find “Security & Privacy” and click on it.
