Chrome is a popular web browser that is widely used by people all over the world. However, the notifications feature in Chrome can be quite annoying, especially if you receive a lot of notifications from different websites. If you are tired of receiving notifications from Chrome, you can easily turn them off. In this article, we will guide you on how to turn off notifications on Chrome in Windows 10.

Step One: Open Chrome Settings

The first step is to open the Chrome browser and click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the window. From the drop-down menu, select “Settings.”

Step Two: Go to Advanced Settings

After opening the settings, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Advanced.”

Step Three: Go to the Content Settings

Under the “Privacy and security” section, click on “Content settings.”

Step Four: Turn off Notifications

Once you are in the Content settings, scroll down to the “Notifications” section and click on it. Here, you can choose to either block all notifications or select specific websites that you don’t want to receive notifications from.

Step Five: Save Your Changes

After making your selection, click on the “Done” button to save your changes.

Step Six: Restart Chrome

Finally, close and restart Chrome to ensure that your changes take effect.

In conclusion, turning off notifications on Chrome in Windows 10 is a simple process that can be done in just a few steps. By following these steps, you can avoid getting inundated with notifications from various websites and have a more peaceful browsing experience.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
