How to Trans­fer Pictures From Google Pho­tos to iCloud

Google Photos has been one of the most popular applications when it comes to storing photos online, with millions of users across the globe. It offers unlimited storage for photos and videos, and its easy-to-use interface has made it a favorite among users. However, if you are an iPhone user and plan to switch to iCloud, you might wonder how to transfer your photos from Google Photos to iCloud seamlessly. In this article, we will guide you on how to do it.

Method 1: Using Download and Upload Method

The first method involves downloading all your Google Photos and uploading them to iCloud. Here are the steps:

  1. Downloading your Google Photos

– Go to the Google Photos website on your computer.

– Select the photos you want to transfer.

– Click on the three dots at the top-right corner of the screen.

– Select “Download” and wait for the download to finish.

Note: Ensure that you have enough storage space in your computer to download all the photos you want to transfer.

  1. Uploading your Google Photos to iCloud

– Once you have downloaded all your photos from Google Photos, go to the iCloud website on your computer.

– Sign in to your iCloud account.

– Click on “Photos” and select “Upload.”

– Navigate to the folder where you downloaded your Google Photos and select the photos you want to upload.

– Wait for the upload to finish.

Method 2: Using the Google Photos App on Your iPhone

The second method involves using the Google Photos app on your iPhone to transfer your photos to iCloud. Here are the steps:

  1. Downloading your Google Photos on Your iPhone

– Download the Google Photos app on your iPhone and sign in.

– Tap on the three bars at the top-left corner of the screen.

– Select “Settings” and select “Backup & Sync.”

– Turn on “Backup & Sync.”

– Wait for all the photos to sync to your iPhone.

Note: Ensure that you have enough storage space on your iPhone to accommodate all the photos you want to transfer.

  1. Uploading your Google Photos to iCloud

– Go to the iCloud website on your computer and sign in.

– Click on “Photos” and select “Upload.”

– Navigate to the Photos app on your iPhone and select the photos you want to transfer.

– Wait for the upload to finish.
