Google Photos is a great online storage service for your photos and videos. However, if you have an iPhone and want to switch to iCloud, you may be wondering how you can transfer your Google Photos to iCloud. In this article, we will guide you on how to transfer all your Google Photos to iCloud.

Step 1: Download and Install Google Photos App

The first thing you need to do is download and install Google Photos on your iPhone from the App Store if you haven’t already. Sign in to your Google account that has all your photos.

Step 2: Select Photos to be Transferred

Once you have installed the Google Photos app, select the photos you want to transfer to iCloud. You can select as many photos and videos as you want by tapping and holding on a photo, and then selected the other photos you want to transfer.

Step 3: Create a New Album

After selecting the photos, you need to create a new album in Google Photos. You can do this by clicking on the “+” icon and selecting the “Album” option. Name it something that will help you identify it as the album you’re transferring to iCloud.

Step 4: Share Album

After creating the album, click on the “Share” button and select the iCloud icon from the apps listed. A new window will appear asking you to sign in to your iCloud account. Once you’ve signed in, you’ll see an option to select the album you created earlier.

Step 5: Share the Album

After selecting the album, you can now share it with your iCloud account. Make sure you select the “Share” option as this will transfer the photos to iCloud. Once the transfer is complete, you will receive a notification in the iCloud app on your iPhone.

Step 6: Check your iCloud Account

Finally, you should check that your photos have been transferred to your iCloud account. Open the Photos app on your iPhone, and you should see the photos you transferred from Google Photos in your iCloud library.

Conclusion

Transferring your Google Photos to iCloud is an easy process. By following these simple steps, you can be sure that your precious memories are safe and sound in your iCloud account. Remember to make backups of your data regularly to ensure they are always safe, even if unforeseen circumstances take place.
