1. Gather your materials: Before you begin, make sure to have all your necessary materials at hand. This includes a box or envelope, packing tape, labels, and any protective packaging materials such as bubble wrap or filler paper.

2. Package your item: Place your items securely in the box or envelope. Use protective packaging materials to ensure that the items do not shift or become damaged during transit. Ensure that the package is properly sealed with packing tape.

3. Determine shipping service: Visit the FedEx website or a local FedEx shipping center to determine the best shipping service that meets your requirements. Consider factors such as delivery speed, cost, insurance options, and tracking capabilities.

4. Obtain shipping label: Create and print a shipping label from the FedEx website by entering the required information, or visit a FedEx location for assistance. Make sure to double-check that all shipping information is correct.

5. Attach shipping label: Affix the printed shipping label to the package on a flat surface where it can be easily seen and is free of any seams or folds. If using an envelope, place the label on the front side of the envelope clearly visible.

6. Choose additional services (optional): FedEx offers various additional services like package insurance, delivery signature requirements, and more. Select any desired add-ons and pay applicable fees before sending the package.

7. Prepare for pickup or drop-off: If you have scheduled a pickup, make sure that your package is easily accessible and ready for collection at the designated time and location. Alternatively, you can drop off your package at a local FedEx store or dropbox location.

8. Track your package: After sending your package, keep track of its progress through FedEx’s online tracking system. Enter your tracking number on their website or sign up for notifications to receive updates about your shipment.

9. Monitor delivery status: Stay informed about the delivery status of your package. Be prepared to provide identification and a signature upon delivery if required for the service you chose.

10. Follow up: In case of any issues with your shipment, contact FedEx customer service for assistance and provide your tracking number for faster resolution. Remember to keep all relevant documentation like receipts or e-mails handy in case they are needed during the resolution process.

By following these 10 steps, you can successfully send a FedEx package while ensuring its safe and timely arrival at its destination.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
