Instagram has become one of the most popular social media platforms nowadays, with millions of active users every day. People share images, videos, and stories on this platform every moment. If you come across a video on Instagram that you want to keep, you might want to save it on your device.

While Instagram does not provide a direct download option for videos, there are some ways you can save Instagram videos. Here are some methods you can follow to save Instagram videos:

Method 1: Using Video Downloading Apps

Various video downloading apps are available that allow you to download videos from Instagram. Some of the popular video downloader apps include FastSave, Video Downloader for Instagram, and InstaSave. These apps work similarly. You will need to install the app on your device and follow these steps:

– Launch the app and log in to your Instagram account

– Find the video you want to save

– Tap the three-dot menu button on the top right corner of the video

– Tap the “Copy Link” option

– Open the video downloading app

– The app will automatically detect the copied link and prompt you to download the video

Method 2: Using a Screen Recording Tool

Another method to save Instagram videos is by using a third-party screen recording tool. Various screen recording apps are available in the app store that allows you to record your screen while playing the Instagram video.

Follow these steps to use a screen recording tool:

– Download a screen recording app of your choice

– Launch the app and choose the recording mode

– Open Instagram and find the video you want to save

– Start the screen recording and play the Instagram video

– Stop the recording once the video is over

– The video will automatically be saved to your device’s camera roll

Method 3: Using a Web Browser

You can also save Instagram videos using a web browser. Follow these steps for the same:

– Open Instagram in your web browser

– Find the video you want to save and play it

– Right-click on the video and select “Inspect Element”

– Locate the video URL link in the inspect element window

– Copy the link and paste it in a new tab

– The video will start playing, right-click on it, and select “Save Video As”

– Choose the location where you want to save the video and click “Save”

In conclusion, these are some of the methods you can follow to save Instagram videos. However, it’s important to note that it’s illegal to download videos without the owner’s permission. So, be cautious while using these methods and use it only for personal use.
