Samsung tablets have a very reliable and efficient Operating System (OS) that can be easily reset in the event that the device becomes unresponsive, slow or malfunctioned. A hard reset is an essential step to take if you want to keep your tablet running smoothly or if you want to restore it to the factory settings, which will clear any issue that may have caused it to malfunction. If you are wondering how to reset your Samsung Tablet, this article is here to help. This article will provide step-by-step instructions on how to reset your Samsung tablet.

Before you begin the reset process, it is important to note that performing a hard reset will erase all data and information, and will restore the tablet to its original factory settings. Therefore, it’s essential to back up all data and information to prevent loss.

Step 1: Power off the tablet

Before resetting the Samsung tablet, ensure it is turned off. Press and hold the power button on the device until the “Power off” option appears on the screen. Then tap the power-off option.

Step 2: Press and hold the combined keys

Press and hold the volume up button, the home button, and the power button together at once. Keep them pressed for a few seconds until the Samsung logo appears on the screen.

Step 3: Enter into recovery mode

Release the power button but keep holding the volume up button and the home button. Continue doing so until the screen changes to the recovery mode screen.

Step 4: Navigate to the factory reset option

Your device will be in the recovery mode screen; use the volume up and down buttons to navigate to the “Factory Reset” option.

Step 5: Proceed with the reset

Tap the factory reset option using the power button, and then select “Yes” to confirm the reset. The reset process will start, and it might take some time to complete. Please do not interrupt the process.

Step 6: Reboot the device

After the reset, the Samsung tablet will reboot automatically. It may take longer to boot than usual, so don’t panic and don’t interrupt the process. Set up the device as per the on-screen instructions.

Conclusion

Resetting a Samsung tablet can restore its original factory settings and improve the overall performance of the device. However, it is essential to back up all your data before resetting the device, as a hard reset can erase all your data and information from the device permanently. Follow the above steps to reset your Samsung tablet successfully.
