If you’re an iPhone user who wants to remove the background from an image, you’re in luck. Apple’s iOS has a built-in feature for removing the background from any image. It’s called the “Instant Alpha” tool, and it’s very easy to use. In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps of how to remove the background from any image on iPhone.

Step 1: Find the Image You Want to Edit

First, find the image you want to edit in your Photos app. You can also import an image from your camera roll or download one from the internet. Once you have the image you want to edit, tap on it to open it.

Step 2: Tap “Edit” to Open the Editing Tools

Once the image is open, tap on the “Edit” button in the top-right corner of the screen. This will open the editing tools for the image.

Step 3: Select the “Instant Alpha” Tool

Next, tap on the “Instant Alpha” tool. It should be the fourth tool from the left in the bottom row of editing tools. This will cause the tool to be highlighted in blue, indicating that it’s selected and ready to use.

Step 4: Remove the Background

Now, use your finger to draw around the background of the image. As you draw, you’ll see the background being highlighted in yellow. Keep drawing until the entire background is highlighted.

If you accidentally highlight part of the subject, tap the highlighted area to un-highlight it. If you miss part of the background, touch and hold the area you would like to add to the highlighted area until it appears yellow.

Step 5: Tap “Done” to Save Your Changes

Once the background is fully highlighted, tap “Done” in the bottom-right corner of the screen. This will save your changes and remove the background from the image.

Step 6: Export Your Edited Image

Finally, tap “Done” once again to exit the editing tools. You’ll see the edited image without a background in your Photos app. Now, you can export the image as a PNG file and use it where you need it. To do this, tap the “Share” button and select “Save as File” and choose PNG as the type of file.

In conclusion, removing the background from any image on iPhone is an easy process. With the right tools and a couple of steps, you can create edited images with a transparent background. The “Instant Alpha” tool is an excellent feature that can be used to remove unwanted backgrounds or make your images more stylish. We hope that this tutorial will help you get started with editing your images on an iPhone.
