Spread the love

Minecraft is an incredibly popular game that has been loved by millions of players all over the world for over 10 years. One of the most exciting aspects of Minecraft is the ability to play with friends, whether they’re in the same room or on the other side of the world. In this article, we’ll be discussing the different ways that you can play Minecraft with your friends.

1) LAN

The first and simplest way to play Minecraft with friends is through a LAN (Local Area Network) connection. This method allows players to connect to a network and play Minecraft together in the same room. To set up a LAN, all players need to be on the same Wi-Fi network, and one player must start a new Minecraft game and set the game mode to “LAN”. Then, other players can join the game by finding it in the LAN server list.

2) Online Multiplayer

Online multiplayer is the most popular way to play Minecraft with friends. This method allows players to join public servers or create their own private servers and invite friends to play. To join a public server, players simply need to find a server online and enter its IP address or domain name in Minecraft’s “multiplayer” menu.

To create a private server, players can use websites or programs that host Minecraft servers, such as Minehut or Aternos. Once the server is set up, players can invite friends to join by sharing the server’s IP address or domain name.

3) Minecraft Realms

Minecraft Realms is a subscription-based service that allows players to create a private server that is hosted by Mojang (the developers of Minecraft). This method is great for players who want a hassle-free way to play with their friends without needing to set up and maintain their own server. To use Minecraft Realms, players simply need to purchase a subscription and invite their friends to join the server.

4) Split-Screen

Split-screen is a feature that allows players to play Minecraft with friends on the same console or PC. This method is great for players who want to play together in the same room without needing multiple devices. To use split-screen, players must have a console or PC that supports split-screen and create a new Minecraft game, then invite their friends to join using the second controller or keyboard.
