A honey lip scrub is a fantastic natural remedy for dry and chapped lips. Gentle exfoliation removes dead skin cells, revealing a smooth and healthy pout. Whether you’re a fan of DIY beauty products or looking for an eco-friendly alternative to store-bought lip scrubs, this honey lip scrub recipe is easy to make and will leave your lips feeling soft and moisturized. Simply follow these 11 steps!

1. Gather your ingredients:

To make honey lip scrub, you’ll need:

– 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar (white or brown)

– 1 tablespoon of honey (preferably raw and organic)

– ½ teaspoon of olive oil or coconut oil

– Optional: A few drops of your favorite essential oil

2. Mix the sugar and honey:

In a small bowl, combine the sugar and honey until they are well-blended.

3. Add your choice of oil:

Either olive oil or coconut oil can be used in this recipe. Add ½ teaspoon of your preferred oil to the sugar-honey mixture.

4. Stir well:

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until you have a smooth, thick paste.

5. Customize with essential oils (optional):

For added fragrance and benefits, you may want to add a few drops of your favorite essential oil like lavender, orange, or peppermint.

6. Transfer to a container:

Spoon your homemade honey lip scrub into a small, clean jar or container with an air-tight lid for storage.

7. Apply the honey lip scrub:

Wet your lips with warm water before applying a pea-sized amount of the honey lip scrub onto your finger.

8. Gently exfoliate:

Using gentle circular motions, spread the scrub onto your lips in small circles, focusing on any particularly dry areas.

9. Leave the scrub on:

Allow the honey lip scrub to sit on your lips for a minute or two, giving the honey time to moisturize and rejuvenate your pout.

10. Rinse off the scrub:

Rinse the scrub off your lips with warm water, gently patting them dry with a clean towel.

11. Follow with lip balm:

Apply your favorite lip balm or moisturizer to lock in the benefits of your honey lip scrub and keep your lips hydrated.

There you have it – a simple, all-natural honey lip scrub that can be made in less than 5 minutes! Incorporate this DIY exfoliant into your weekly beauty routine for soft, smooth, and kissable lips all year-round.
