Cloud slime has become a popular DIY project for kids and adults alike, offering hours of satisfyingly squishy fun. Its unique texture, which combines the stretchiness of traditional slime with the fluffiness of cotton, is an ideal stress-reliever and creativity booster. Follow these 12 simple steps to create your very own cloud slime at home.

1. Gather your supplies:

– White school glue (4 ounces)

– Liquid starch (1/2 cup)

– Instant snow powder (2 teaspoons + water)

– Food coloring (optional)

– Mixing bowl

– Spoon

– Measuring cups and spoons

2. Add glue to the mixing bowl: Pour 4 ounces of white school glue into the mixing bowl

3. Choose a color (optional): Add a few drops of your favorite food coloring to the glue and mix well until you achieve your desired shade.

4. Add liquid starch: Slowly pour 1/2 cup of liquid starch into the bowl while stirring consistently for even distribution.

5. Mix thoroughly: Keep mixing until the slime starts coming together and forms a sticky texture.

6. Knead the slime: Once you’ve achieved a sticky consistency, knead the slime with your hands. The more you knead, the less sticky it will become.

7. Prepare instant snow: In a separate container, mix 2 teaspoons of instant snow powder with water according to package instructions, then wait for it to expand.

8. Fluff up the snow: Break up any clumps in your prepared instant snow until it reaches a fluffy consistency.

9. Combine snow and slime: Gradually add small amounts of fluffy instant snow into your slime, folding it in with your fingers or a spoon.

10. Keep adding snow: Continue incorporating the instant snow into your slime mixture until you reach your desired cloud-like texture. You may not need all of the instant snow, so be sure to add it slowly.

11. Enjoy your cloud slime: Stretch, squeeze, and play with your fluffy cloud slime! The unique texture will provide endless entertainment.

12. Store properly: When you’re finished playing, store your cloud slime in an airtight container to maintain its consistency and prevent it from drying out.

In just 12 easy steps, you’ve successfully created your very own batch of cloud slime! Experiment with different colors and consistencies to make unique slimes for hours of fun. Happy sliming!
