In today’s world of remote work and virtual meetings, conference calls have become an essential tool for businesses and organizations to communicate effectively. One of the most popular platforms to make such a call is Skype, which is easy to use and offers high-quality audio and video. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to make a conference call with Skype.

Step 1: Ensure you have the latest version of Skype

Before making a conference call, make sure you have the latest version of Skype. You can check for updates by going to the “Help” tab in the Skype window and selecting “Check for Updates.”

Step 2: Sign in to your Skype account

Sign in to your Skype account using your username and password. If you don’t have an account, you can create one for free.

Step 3: Add participants to the call

To make a conference call, you first need to add the participants to the call. You can do this by clicking on the “Add Participants” button in the Skype window. You can choose to invite people from your contact list or by typing their name, email address, or phone number.

Step 4: Initiate the conference call

Once you have added the participants to the call, click on the “Call” button to initiate the conference call. The participants will receive an invitation to join the call, and you can start the conversation once everyone has joined.

Step 5: Manage the conference call

During the conference call, you can manage the call settings by clicking on the “Call controls” button. The call controls allow you to mute or unmute participants, end the call, or add new participants. You can also share your screen with the participant by clicking on the “Share Screen” button.

Step 6: End the conference call

Once the call is over, click on the “End Call” button to end the conference call. You can also choose to leave the call and let the other participants continue the conversation.

In Conclusion, making conference calls with Skype is an intuitive and straightforward process that involves adding participants and initiating the call. With the latest version of Skype, you can enjoy high-quality audio and video, and manage the call settings without any hassles. Follow these simple steps, and you’ll be on your way to a successful conference call with Skype.
