YouTube Music is one of the most popular music streaming services in the world, offering users access to a vast collection of songs and albums. While it’s primarily designed as a mobile app, with the right setup, you can also use YouTube Music on your PC. In this article, we’ll show you how to install YouTube Music on your PC from your browser.

Step 1 – Open your browser

Launch your web browser—Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or any other browser of your choice. You can use any browser as long as it supports web extensions.

Step 2 – Install the YouTube Music Web Extension

Head to the official Chrome Web Store or the Firefox Add-ons Store and search for YouTube Music Web Extension. Once you’ve found the extension, click the “Add to Chrome” or “Add to Firefox” button to start the installation process.

Step 3 – Sign in to your Google Account

After installation, click the YouTube Music icon in the upper-right corner of your browser to open it. If you’re not already signed in, sign in with your Google account credentials.

Step 4 – Start Listening to Music

Now that you’ve signed in, you can start browsing through the various songs and albums available on YouTube Music. You can choose to play music individually, create playlists, or listen to radio stations. YouTube Music is a multifaceted service that provides lots of options for users, so feel free to explore all that it can offer.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
