Installing a Rocketfish TV mount is an excellent way to optimize your entertainment center and free up valuable floor space. In this article, we’ll walk you through the process of installing a Rocketfish TV mount in a few simple steps.

Step 1: Choose the right mount

There are several types of Rocketfish TV mounts available, each designed for different sizes and types of TVs. Be sure to choose a mount that is compatible with your television’s size and weight capacity. For example, if you have a 55-inch TV, you’ll need a mount specifically designed for that size.

Step 2: Find the right location

Before you start installation, determine the location where you want to mount your TV. Be sure to consider factors such as viewing angle, room layout, sunlight exposure, and proximity to power outlets. It’s essential to choose a wall that can support the combined weight of your TV and the mount securely.

Step 3: Gather tools and materials

To install your Rocketfish TV mount, you will need the following tools:

– Stud finder

– Level

– Power drill/driver

– Drill bits (sizes specified in the instructions)

– Socket wrench or driver with appropriate sockets (usually included in the package)

– Screwdriver (usually Phillips or flathead)

– Tape measure

– Pencil or marker

Step 4: Locate wall studs

Use a stud finder to locate two wall studs that can support the weight of your TV and mount. Keep in mind that most studs are spaced either 16 or 24 inches apart. Once you have located the studs, mark their center points with a pencil.

Step 5: Attach the mounting bracket to your TV

Follow the instructions provided with your Rocketfish TV mount to attach the appropriate mounting bracket(s) to your television’s back. Usually, this involves aligning the bracket(s) with the VESA mounting holes on your TV and securing them with the provided screws.

Step 6: Attach the wall plate to the wall

Hold the wall plate against the wall, aligning it with the marked stud locations. Place your level on top of the plate to ensure that it is level. Mark the drill holes corresponding to the studs and pre-drill them. Once you have drilled the necessary holes, secure the wall plate to the wall using large lag bolts or screws provided in your kit.

Step 7: Attach your TV to the wall mount

With a helper, lift your TV and gently slide or hook it onto the wall plate attached to your wall. Make sure that your TV is secure and all connections are correctly in place before releasing support.

Step 8: Make final adjustments

If necessary, adjust leveling or tilt according to your desired preferences. Carefully plug in any cables or cords needed for power and input sources and arrange them for a clean appearance.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Rocketfish TV mount. Now you can enjoy an enhanced viewing experience while maintaining a clean, organized living space.
