1. Gather your friends: A Nerf war is best enjoyed with a group of people. Invite your friends, family, or neighbors to join in on the fun.

2. Choose your weapons: Each participant should have at least one Nerf gun. Consider providing a variety of options, such as blasters, bows, and foam swords for added excitement.

3. Pick a location: Select a spacious and safe area for your Nerf war. This could be a backyard, park, or even an indoor space with ample room to run around and take cover.

4. Set the boundaries: Clearly mark the playing field’s boundaries to avoid any disputes during the game.

5. Establish rules: Before starting the war, make sure everyone is aware of the rules. Discuss safety guidelines, acceptable targets, and any potential penalties for rule violations.

6. Designate teams: Split the participants into two or more teams. You can choose teams randomly or let players pick their teammates.

7. Determine the objective: Decide on a specific goal for each team to achieve during the Nerf war, such as capturing a flag or eliminating all opponents.

8. Equip everyone with protective gear: Ensure that all players are wearing safety goggles and other necessary protective equipment.

9. Plan strategies: Give each team time to devise their game plan before starting the war.

10. Hide ammo and power-ups: Scatter extra ammunition and power-ups (such as additional weapons or shields) throughout the playing area as an added challenge

11. Signal the start of the war: Use a whistle or other signal to notify players that it’s time to begin battling.

12. Monitor gameplay and enforce rules: Have one or more individuals serve as referees to ensure fair play and adherence to safety guidelines during the war.

13. Declare a winner and celebrate victory: Once one team achieves their objective, declare them the winners and celebrate with refreshments, awards, or other post-war activities.

Following these 13 steps will ensure a fun and exciting Nerf war for everyone involved. Happy battling!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
