1. Choose the right spot: The first step in giving a girl a hickey is to pick the right spot on her body. The neck is the most common area where hickeys are given, but you can also choose other sensitive areas like the inner arm, collarbone, or even thigh, depending on your partner’s preferences and comfort level.

2. Build intimacy: Start with gentle touches, caresses, and kisses on her body to establish an intimate atmosphere and make her feel relaxed. Slowly work your way towards the spot you have chosen for giving the hickey.

3. Check for consent: Before giving a girl a hickey, it’s crucial that you have her consent. Make sure to communicate your intentions and ask if it is okay to proceed. This not only ensures that she feels comfortable but also shows respect for her boundaries.

4. Apply gentle suction: To give a hickey, place your lips against her skin, and start applying gentle suction by sucking inwards while keeping your mouth slightly open. This causes blood vessels to break beneath the skin, creating the bruise-like mark known as a hickey.

5. Vary the intensity: As you suck on her skin, vary the intensity of your suction by starting gently and gradually increasing the force as she feels more comfortable. Be careful not to cause any pain or discomfort throughout this process.

6. Hold for 20-30 seconds: Maintain suction for about 20-30 seconds before releasing your lips from her skin. If desired, you can give multiple hickeys by changing your position slightly in between each one.

7. Soothe with gentle kisses: Once you have given the hickey, soothe the area with gentle kisses or by lightly blowing air onto it before transitioning back into sensual kisses or cuddling.

8. Communicate aftercare needs: Although hickeys generally fade on their own, some may require aftercare, such as applying a cold compress to reduce bruising or applying aloe vera for soothing purposes. Communicate any need for aftercare with your partner and offer to help take care of it.

In summary, the key to giving a girl a hickey lies in choosing the right spot, building intimacy, checking for consent, and applying suction carefully while keeping her comfort in mind. Always make sure both partners are comfortable with giving and receiving hickeys and provide proper aftercare if necessary.

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject.
