The Air Quality Index (AQI) is an important metric that measures the air quality in your area and can help you make informed decisions about outdoor activities. If you own an Apple Watch, you can easily get the AQI complication on your watch face.

Here’s how:

Step 1: Update your Apple Watch

Make sure your Apple Watch is updated to watchOS 7 or later. You can check for updates by going to the Watch app on your iPhone and navigating to General > Software Update.

Step 2: Add the AQI Complication

1. Press the Digital Crown on your Apple Watch to go to the watch face.

2. Press and hold the watch face until the Edit mode appears.

3. Swipe left until you find a watch face that supports complications.

4. Tap on the watch face to select it.

5. Tap on Customize.

6. Swipe left until you see the complication selection screen.

7. Tap on the complication location where you want to add the AQI complication.

8. Use the Digital Crown to scroll through the complications until you find the AQI complication.

9. Tap on the AQI complication to add it to your watch face.

10. Press the Digital Crown to exit Edit mode.

Step 3: Set Your Location

1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.

2. Navigate to General > Apple Watch Metrics > Air Quality.

3. Tap on Air Quality Index.

4. Allow the app to access your location.

5. Choose the location you want to track the AQI for.

That’s it! You now have the AQI complication on your Apple Watch and can easily track the air quality in your area. Stay informed and stay healthy!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
