A towel swan is a visually appealing and stylish way to display towels in your bathroom, guestroom, or even as part of a gift basket. Creating a towel swan is easy and only takes a few minutes. Follow these six simple steps to fold your very own towel swan.

1. Choose the right towel: Begin with selecting a clean bath towel or hand towel, preferably one with good absorbency. Using towels without frayed edges or patterns will give your swan a neater appearance.

2. Spread the towel: Lay the towel flat on a clean, dry, and flat surface. Make sure there are no wrinkles or creases in the towel before proceeding.

3. Fold diagonally: Fold the towel diagonally by bringing one corner over to the opposite corner, creating a triangle shape. Ensure that the right-angle corners are aligned perfectly.

4. Create the swan neck: Beginning at the base (the longest side) of the triangle, start rolling one side inwards until you reach the top point of the triangle. Repeat this process for the other side of the triangle so that both rolled sides meet in the center. The two “v”-shaped rolls you’ve created will become the swan’s neck and head.

5. Adjust and shape: Hold both rolled ends together and bend them downwards to create an “S” shape, which will represent the swan’s neck and head. Adjust and shape it as necessary until you’re happy with its appearance.

6. Forming the body: Finally, set your now bent towel onto a flat surface with its neck arching upwards. Gently spread out and fan the bottom part of your triangular figure; this will serve as the swan’s body. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure stability and visual appeal.

Congratulations! You have successfully folded a towel swan in just six easy steps. Use your newfound skill to pleasantly surprise your guests or add a touch of elegance to your own bathroom décor.
