Introduction:

Folding a thong can be somewhat confusing for those who have never attempted it or if you’re trying to maximize storage space in your drawer. In this article, we will guide you through 9 easy steps on how to fold a thong efficiently and keep it neat in your closet

Step 1: Clean and Dry

Before folding, make sure your thong is freshly laundered and completely dry. This ensures that you avoid bacteria growth and unpleasant odors.

Step 2: Lay it Flat on a Smooth Surface

Place your thong flat on a smooth surface, such as a clean table or countertop, with the front side facing down.

Step 3: Fold the Waistband

Fold the waistband once towards the center of the thong, ensuring that the side straps align evenly with the center.

Step 4: Fold the Side Straps

Fold each side strap over onto itself twice, bringing them to the center of the thong. This will create a compact bundle, making it easier to store and organize.

Step 5: Unify the Back Panels

For thongs with additional fabric in the back, make sure that both parts are aligned evenly before continuing.

Step 6: Fold Vertically

Starting from the bottom, fold your thong in half vertically. Ensure there are no creases or wrinkles while keeping its compact form intact.

Step 7: Tuck in Side Straps

Tuck in any protruding side straps securely to create a clean and polished appearance.

Step 8: Add Scent if Desired

To maintain freshness, you can place a small sachet of lavender or other fragrant herbs between your neatly folded thongs if desired. This step is optional but recommended if you want your lingerie drawer to smell great.

Step 9: Store Away

Finally, place your folded thong in your designated storage area, keeping it organized among other undergarments.

Conclusion:

Now that you know how to fold a thong in 9 easy steps, you can maintain an orderly lingerie drawer and maximize space. Next time you’re doing laundry or reorganizing your dresser, try this method and keep your thongs neat and tidy.
