If you’re a Pokémon GO player, you’ll know how frustrating it can be when the GPS signal isn’t found. Whether you’re in the middle of a gym battle or trying to catch a rare Pokémon, it’s never a good time for your GPS to stop working. Luckily, there are a few things you can do to fix the GPS signal not found error in Pokémon GO.

1. Check Your Location Settings

The first thing you need to do is make sure your location settings are turned on. On iOS devices, go to Settings, then Privacy, then Location Services. Ensure that Location Services is turned on and that Pokémon GO has access to it. On Android devices, go to Settings, then Location, and ensure that your GPS is turned on and that Pokémon GO has permission to access your location.

2. Restart Your Device

Sometimes a simple restart can fix the GPS signal not found error in Pokémon GO. Turn your device off and back on again to see if this solves the problem.

3. Move to an Open Area

If you’re in a building or an area with a lot of obstructions, such as trees or tall buildings, your GPS signal may be blocked. Try moving to an open area, such as a park or a wide-open field, to see if this improves your GPS signal.

4. Clear Cache and Data

If the first three steps don’t work, try clearing the cache and data for Pokémon GO. This will remove any corrupted data and might fix the GPS signal not found error. On Android devices, go to Settings, then Apps, then Pokémon GO. Select Storage, then Clear Data and Clear Cache. On iOS devices, reinstall the app to clear any corrupted data.

5. Update Your Device Software

Outdated device software can cause issues with GPS signals. Make sure your device’s software is up to date by going to Settings, then General, then Software Update (on iOS devices) or Settings, then System, then Software Update (on Android devices).

6. Contact Support

If none of the above steps work, contact Pokémon GO support. They may be able to help you diagnose and fix the issue.
