PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, also known as PUBG, is a popular online multiplayer battle royale game. However, some users have reported experiencing difficulties with launching the game on Windows 11 or 10. If you’re one of those experiencing problems, keep reading for some possible solutions.

1. Restart Your Computer

If you’re experiencing issues with PUBG not launching, try restarting your computer. This might seem like an unnecessary step, but sometimes a simple system reboot can fix a lot of problems.

2. Disable Antivirus Software

Sometimes, antivirus software can interfere with the proper functioning of applications, including games. Try disabling your antivirus software temporarily and launching PUBG again to see if it resolves the problem. If so, try adding PUBG to the antivirus exception list to prevent the issue from recurring.

3. Verify Game Files

If PUBG is not launching, it could be due to missing or corrupted game files. Verify the integrity of the game files by right-clicking on PUBG in your Steam library and selecting “Properties.” Navigate to the “Local Files” tab and click “Verify Integrity of Game Files.” This process may take several minutes, but it will ensure that any missing or corrupted files are replaced.

4. Update Graphics Drivers

Old or outdated graphics drivers can cause various issues with games. If PUBG is not launching, check that your graphics card drivers are up to date. Visit the manufacturer’s website to download the latest drivers for your graphics card.

5. Reinstall the Game

If none of the above steps have worked, it may be necessary to reinstall the game. Uninstall PUBG completely, and then redownload and install it again. This process may take some time, but it is a reliable fix for most issues associated with launching the game.

In Conclusion

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is an exciting and challenging game that offers endless entertainment for avid gamers. However, experiencing difficulties with launching the game can be frustrating. The above-discussed solutions can help you fix the problem of PUBG not launching in Windows 11 or 10, so you can enjoy this thrilling game without any issues.
