If you’re using Windows 10 and have encountered the “Page Fault in Nonpaged Area” error, don’t worry, you’re not alone. This error can be caused by a number of reasons, including faulty hardware, corrupt system files, or outdated drivers. Here are some steps you can take to fix the issue:

Step 1: Restart Your Computer

Sometimes a simple restart can fix the issue. Restart your computer and see if the error persists.

Step 2: Check Your Hardware

Faulty hardware can cause the “Page Fault in Nonpaged Area” error. Check your RAM, hard drive, and other hardware components for any issues. You can use Windows’ built-in diagnostic tools or third-party software to perform hardware checks.

Step 3: Update Your Drivers

Outdated drivers can also cause the error. Update your drivers to the latest version available. You can do this manually or use a driver updater tool.

Step 4: Check Your System Files

Corrupt system files can also cause the error. Use the System File Checker tool to scan your system files for any issues and repair them. To do this, open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type “sfc /scannow” and hit enter.

Step 5: Check Your Hard Drive

A failing hard drive can also cause the error. Use the CHKDSK tool to scan your hard drive for any issues and repair them. To do this, open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type “chkdsk C: /f /r” (replace C with the drive letter you want to scan) and hit enter.

Step 6: Perform a Clean Install of Windows

If none of the above steps work, you can perform a clean install of Windows. This will erase all your data and applications, so make sure to back up your important files before proceeding.

In conclusion, the “Page Fault in Nonpaged Area” error can be caused by a variety of factors, but these steps should help you fix the issue. If the error persists, it might be a good idea to consult a professional for further assistance.
