Facebook Messenger is one of the most popular instant messaging services worldwide. It is used by millions of people daily to communicate with friends, family members, and colleagues. However, did you know that some of your messages on Facebook Messenger might be hidden from view? In this article, we will show you how to find your hidden messages on Facebook Messenger.

Step 1: Open Facebook Messenger App

The first step in finding your hidden messages on Facebook Messenger is to open the app on your smartphone or tablet device. If you have not downloaded Messenger, you can do so through the App Store or Google Play.

Step 2: Tap Your Profile Picture

Once you have opened the Messenger app, tap on your profile picture located in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. This will take you to your Messenger profile.

Step 3: Tap on “Message Requests”

Next, tap on “Message Requests,” which is located directly underneath your profile picture. Here, you will see any messages from people who are not your Facebook friends.

Step 4: Tap on “Filtered Requests”

After tapping on “Message Requests,” scroll down and tap on “Filtered Requests” located beneath the “Recent” tab. This tab contains messages from people you might not know.

Step 5: View Your Hidden Messages

Once you have tapped on “Filtered Requests,” you will see a list of messages from people who may not be on your friends’ list, and some from people you do know. You can read and reply to these messages just like any other message in Messenger.

You can also access your hidden messages from your computer by following the same steps above by logging in through the Messenger website.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
