How to Find Every Mac Keyboard Shortcut Using CheatSheet

As a Mac user, you’re probably familiar with using keyboard shortcuts to complete tasks more quickly and efficiently. But with so many shortcuts to remember, it can be quite a challenge to keep track of them all. Fortunately, there’s a solution to help you find every Mac keyboard shortcut: CheatSheet.

CheatSheet is a free application that helps Mac users find and use keyboard shortcuts for any application installed on their computer. It’s a powerful tool that makes it easy to memorize keyboard shortcuts and improves your productivity on your computer. Here’s how to use CheatSheet to find every Mac keyboard shortcut.

First, download and install CheatSheet from the website. After installation, CheatSheet runs in the background and becomes accessible using the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + ? (question mark). Pressing the keys will display a pop-up window with a list of keyboard shortcuts for the application you’re currently using.

To find the shortcuts for other applications, simply click on the application icon in the Dock or menu bar and hold it down for a few seconds. CheatSheet will then display a list of keyboard shortcuts for that application. If you don’t see any shortcuts, it means that the application doesn’t have any keyboard shortcuts associated with it.

CheatSheet doesn’t require any configuration or setup – it automatically detects and displays keyboard shortcuts for all installed applications. Users can also customize the display by adjusting the font size, color scheme, and transparency of the pop-up window. This can be done by clicking on the Settings icon in the upper right corner of the CheatSheet window.

In addition to displaying keyboard shortcuts, CheatSheet also gives users the ability to search for specific shortcuts using keywords. For example, if you’re working in Safari and need to find a shortcut for opening a new tab, simply type “new tab” in the search field and CheatSheet will display a list of all relevant keyboard shortcuts.
