Pixelating or blurring of images online has become a common practice. It is mostly done to protect the identity of individuals, protect sensitive information, or to add a visual effect to an image. With a plethora of online image editors, pixelating or blurring images has become a quick and easy process. In this article, we will discuss the steps on how to easily pixelate or blur your images online.

Step 1: Choose an Online Image Editor

The first step is to choose an online image editor. There are many online tools available such as Pixlr, FotoFlexer, Fotor, and BeFunky, among others. Select a tool that is easy to use and has the appropriate features for your needs.

Step 2: Upload Your Image

Once you have selected an online image editor, upload the image you want to edit. Most online editors have a feature to drag and drop your image. Alternatively, you can use the upload button to select and upload your image.

Step 3: Select the Area to Pixelate or Blur

After uploading your image, select the area you want to pixelate or blur. This usually involves using a brush tool to highlight the area. Most online editors provide options for brush size and opacity.

Step 4: Pixelate or Blur the Selected Area

Next, apply the pixelation or blurring effect to the selected area. Most online editors have a pixelation or blur tool that you can use to apply the desired effect. Adjust the strength of the effect until you achieve the desired level of distortion.

Step 5: Save Your Edited Image

Finally, save your edited image. Most online editors will provide you with the option to save the image in a variety of formats such as JPEG, PNG or TIFF. Choose the appropriate format and save the edited image to your computer or device.

In Conclusion

Pixelating or blurring images online has become a common practice for a variety of reasons. With the availability of online image editors, the process has become quick and easy. By following the steps outlined in this article, you will be able to easily pixelate or blur your images online.
