Step 1: Draw a circle

Begin with drawing a circle to represent Kim’s head. Keep it relatively small, as this will help you in proportioning the rest of her body.

Step 2: Sketch guidelines

Draw two intersecting lines within the circle. The vertical line should be closer to the left side, while the horizontal one should be closer to the lower part of the circle. These guidelines will help you align Kim’s facial features.

Step 3: Outline her face

Based on the guidelines, draw an oval shape extending downward from the circle. This will form Kim’s face, coming to a soft point for her chin.

Step 4: Draw facial features

Using the guidelines from Step 2, sketch Kim’s eyes, nose, and mouth. Her eyes should be large and almond-shaped, accompanied by thick eyelashes. Add a small nose and a half-smile on Kim’s face.

Step 5: Add hair

Start by drawing a part in the center of her head above her forehead, then create two sweeping curved lines on either side to represent her iconic bangs. Continue drawing wavy lines extending down both sides of her face to complete her hairstyle.

Step 6: Sketch the neck and shoulders

Draw a short line down from the base of her head for the neck, flaring out at the bottom to create two V-shaped lines forming her shoulders.

Step 7: Draw torso

Sketch a simple curved line for her chest and another for her waist. Connect these curved lines on both sides to show Kim’s hips as well. Add another slightly rounded line for her belt level.

Step 8: Outline arms and hands

Starting from her shoulders, draw two long curved lines extending downward on each side for her arms – these need not be too detailed at this stage. At the end of each arm, sketch small closed fists for Kim Possible’s hands.

Step 9: Draw legs

Start by sketching two long lines from her hips that meet at a central point below the waist for her upper legs. Then, draw smaller curved lines around the knee area to define her knees. Finally, extend more lines to depict her lower legs and simple shoe shapes for her feet.

Step 10: Add clothing and details

Outline Kim’s black turtleneck top, green cargo pants, and dark boots. Add details like pockets, seams, and gloves to make her outfit complete.

Step 11: Finalize your drawing

Erase any unnecessary guide lines or marks and finalize your drawing with clean, sharp lines. Finish off by shading in parts of Kim’s hair, outfit, and facial features.

And there you have it – a step-by-step guide on how to draw Kim Possible! With practice, you’ll be able to create your own versions of this iconic character in no time.
