If you are an iPhone user, you must be aware of the calendar feature that comes with the device. The calendar app is a great way to organize and manage your daily schedule. You can schedule appointments, set reminders, and make to-do lists to keep track of your tasks. However, with time, the number of calendars on your iPhone can grow, making it a little confusing to navigate. So, if you want to clean up your iPhone calendar and delete old calendars that you no longer need, this article is for you.

Here is how to delete calendars on the iPhone:

Step 1: Open the Calendar App

The first step is to open the calendar app on your iPhone. The app icon looks like a small calendar with red and white squares.

Step 2: Go to the Calendars Tab

Once you are in the calendar app, you will see a series of tabs at the bottom of the screen. Tap on the “Calendars” tab to view all the calendars that are currently available on your iPhone.

Step 3: Delete the Calendar

To delete a calendar, tap on the “i” button that is located next to the calendar you want to delete. This will take you to the “Info” page for that particular calendar.Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap on the “Delete Calendar” button. Confirm that you want to delete the calendar by tapping on the “Delete” button again.

Step 4: Remove the Calendar from iCloud

If you have synced your iPhone with iCloud, and you want to permanently remove the calendar from all your devices, you need to delete the calendar from iCloud.com as well. To do this, go to iCloud.com and log in with your Apple ID and password. Click on the “Calendar” icon, and you will see all your calendars listed.

To delete a calendar, click on the “Edit” button that is located at the bottom of the screen. A “Delete” button will appear next to each calendar. Click on the “Delete” button next to the calendar you want to remove. Confirm that you want to delete the calendar by clicking on the “Delete” button again.

Conclusion

Deleting old calendars from your iPhone is an easy process. With just a few clicks, you can remove the calendars that you no longer need, and free up some space on your device. However, it is important to remember that deleting a calendar will also delete all the events, appointments, and reminders associated with that calendar. So, make sure to backup your data before you delete any calendar.
