Google Chrome is one of the most popular web browsers available, known for its ease of use and simple interface. However, over time, you might accumulate a long list of bookmarks that may not be relevant anymore. If that’s the case, it’s essential to delete bookmarks in Chrome to maintain neat and organized bookmarks.

Deleting bookmarks in Chrome is a straightforward process that can be completed in a few clicks. In this article, we’ll take a look at the steps involved in deleting bookmarks on Chrome, whether you’re using a desktop computer or a mobile device.

How to Delete Bookmarks in Chrome – Desktop

Step 1: Open the Chrome browser.

Step 2: Look for the bookmarks button at the top right corner of the screen, which appears as three vertical dots next to the address bar. Click on it.

Step 3: Select “Bookmarks” from the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Click on “Bookmark Manager.”

Step 5: In the Bookmark Manager, look for the bookmark you want to delete.

Step 6: Right-click the bookmark you want to remove, and select “Delete” from the options that appear.

Step 7: Alternatively, you can choose to delete multiple bookmarks at once. Hold down the “Ctrl” key on your keyboard and click on the bookmarks you want to delete. Next, right-click one of the bookmarks and select “Delete.”

Step 8: Confirm the deletion by clicking “Delete” when prompted.

How to Delete Bookmarks in Chrome – Mobile

Step 1: Open the Chrome app on your mobile device.

Step 2: Tap the three dots located at the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3: From the dropdown menu, select “Bookmarks.”

Step 4: Tap the bookmark you want to delete.

Step 5: In the bookmark’s detail page, tap the three dots in the top right corner.

Step 6: Select “Delete” from the options that appear.
