LG Smart TVs are known for their high-quality display and user-friendly interface. These TVs come with a range of built-in apps that provide a great entertainment experience. However, with time, you might want to remove some of the apps that you no longer use to declutter your TV’s home screen. In this article, we will be discussing how to delete apps on LG Smart TVs.

Method 1: Using the LG Content Store

Step 1: Switch on your LG Smart TV and access the LG Content Store by pressing the “Home” button on your LG remote.

Step 2: Navigate to the “My Apps” section in the LG Content Store.

Step 3: Select the app you wish to delete.

Step 4: Press and hold the “OK” button on your LG remote until a pop-up menu appears.

Step 5: Select “Delete” from the pop-up menu and confirm your action.

Method 2: Using the LG TV Settings

Step 1: Turn on your LG Smart TV and navigate to the “Settings” menu by pressing the “Home” button on your LG remote.

Step 2: Select “All Settings” from the Settings menu.

Step 3: Scroll down and select “General.”

Step 4: Scroll down and select “Manage Applications.”

Step 5: Select the app you wish to delete.

Step 6: Press and hold the “OK” button on your LG remote until a pop-up menu appears.

Step 7: Select “Uninstall” from the pop-up menu and confirm your action.

Note: Some apps cannot be deleted, as they are part of the LG Smart TV’s system software.

Conclusion

Deleting unwanted apps on your LG Smart TV is fairly simple and can be done in just a few steps. By using either the LG Content Store or the LG TV settings, you can easily remove clutter from your TV’s home screen and make it more streamlined. Always remember to double-check if an app can be uninstalled before attempting to remove it. With these simple steps, you can enjoy a clean and organized TV experience on your LG Smart TV.
