Amazon Fire Tablets are the perfect device to enjoy all of your favorite apps and digital content. However, with so many apps installed on your device, it might start feeling a bit cluttered. It is essential to delete unnecessary apps on your Fire Tablet to free up space and improve overall performance.

If you’re a Fire Tablet user and want to know how to delete apps from your device, here’s an easy-to-follow guide:

1. Start by unlocking your device and navigating to the home screen.

2. Look for the app you want to remove. You can either swipe through your apps or tap on the “Apps” icon on the home screen to view all of your installed apps.

3. Press and hold down the app icon you want to delete.

4. After a moment, a menu will appear, and you’ll see two options: “Remove from Device” and “Add to Favorites.”

5. Tap on “Remove from Device.”

6. Confirm your action by clicking on “Remove” on the following prompt.

7. The app will instantly be uninstalled from your Fire Tablet and removed from your home screen.

That’s it! You have successfully deleted an app from your Amazon Fire Tablet.

It is important to note that some pre-installed apps on your Amazon device may not have the option to delete entirely. In such cases, you can go to “Settings” and disable the app to prevent it from running in the background.

Deleting unwanted applications from your Fire Tablet not only helps improve performance but also saves on storage space. Remember to keep only those apps that you regularly use, and those that are indispensable to you.

In conclusion, the steps mentioned above are simple and easy to follow, and will help you de-clutter your Fire Tablet effectively. Get started today and free up space for newer and more crucial apps.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
