Snapchat is a popular social media platform for sharing pictures and videos with your friends. The app offers a variety of features to make your user experience more fun and personalized. One of these features is the friend emojis, which allows you to add different symbols next to your friends’ names in the app’s chat section. In this article, we will guide you on how to customize friend emojis on Snapchat.

1. Open Snapchat

The first step is to open the Snapchat app on your phone. Click on the yellow ghost icon at the top left corner of your screen or swipe right from your camera screen to access your profile page.

2. Access the Friend List

Next, click on the “Friends” button located at the bottom left of your screen. This will take you to the list of your friends on the app.

3. Customize Friend Emojis

To customize the friend emojis, you need to select a friend whose emoji you want to customize. Long-press on their name until a menu pops up. Then, click on the gear icon located to the right of their name to access the settings option.

Here, you will find the option to customize the friend emojis. Click on “Edit Friend Emojis” and choose the emoji that you want to replace the default one. You can select from the list of emojis or type a specific keyword in the search bar to find the one you want.

Once you have chosen your custom emoji, tap on the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen to apply the changes.

4. View Your Custom Friend Emojis

After customizing the emojis, you can see them next to your friends’ names in the chat section. This feature makes it easy to identify who you are talking to and add a personal touch to your chats.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject.
