Nintendo Gold Points are a type of currency that players can earn and use within the Nintendo ecosystem. These points can be earned by purchasing Nintendo products, such as games or consoles, and can then be redeemed for rewards such as discounts on other games or even for free games.

In this article, we’ll be going over how to claim, use, and track your Nintendo Gold Points.

Claiming Your Nintendo Gold Points

There are two ways to claim your Nintendo Gold Points: either through a physical copy of a game or through a digital copy of a game.

If you purchase a physical copy of a game, your Nintendo Gold Points will come in the form of a redemption code located inside the game case. To claim your points, simply scratch off the silver area on the card to reveal the code and enter it into the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch. You’ll then see your points added to your account balance.

If you purchase a digital copy of a game, you’ll automatically earn Gold Points for that purchase. The amount of points earned varies based on the price of the game, with 1% of the game’s purchase price being awarded as Gold Points.

Using Your Nintendo Gold Points

Once you’ve earned some Nintendo Gold Points, you can use them towards redeeming rewards. These rewards include discounts on other games or even free games.

To use your points, head to the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch and select the game or reward you want to purchase. When you proceed to the checkout page, you’ll have the option to use your Gold Points to lower the purchase price.

It’s also worth noting that Gold Points can only be used towards purchases made on the Nintendo eShop, so keep that in mind if you’re looking to use them elsewhere.

Tracking Your Nintendo Gold Points

To keep track of your Nintendo Gold Points, you can log into your Nintendo account on the Nintendo website or through your Nintendo Switch.

On the Nintendo website, you’ll be able to see your account balance, as well as a list of recent redemptions and points earned. On the Nintendo Switch, you can find your account balance by going to your profile and selecting “My Nintendo” from the menu.

Conclusion

Nintendo Gold Points are a great way to earn rewards for your Nintendo purchases. By following the above steps, you should be able to easily claim, use, and track your points. So get out there and earn some points towards your next game purchase!
