Choosing an enterprise learning solution is a daunting task. There are so many options available, and it can be hard to decide which one is right for your company. Here are some tips to help you choose the right solution for your needs.

First, you need to decide what you want your solution to do. Do you want it to provide on-demand access to course materials? Do you want it to provide tools to help you track your progress? Do you want it to help you collaborate with other employees?

Second, you need to decide what kind of technology you want your solution to use. Do you want a platform-based solution, like Blackboard or Canvas? Do you want a web-based solution, like CourseMentor or LearningPath? Do you want a mobile solution, like Blackboard Learn or Pivotal Tracker?

Third, you need to decide what kind of training you need. Do you want training on new software? Do you want training on how to use your existing software? Do you want training on how to manage your course materials?

Fourth, you need to decide how much you want to spend. Do you want a full solution, including training and support? Or do you want a solution that just provides access to the course materials?

And finally, you need to decide to who you want to provide the solution. Do you want to provide the solution to your entire company? Or just a subset of your company?

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
