Windows 11 is the latest version of the operating system from Microsoft, featuring a fresh new look with modern interfaces and powerful features. One of the basic tasks that you may need to perform in Windows 11 is changing the system time.

Whether you want to switch to daylight saving time, adjust your clock settings for international travel or set your computer to the correct time zone, changing the time in Windows 11 is a simple process that can be accomplished in just a few steps.

Here’s how to change the time in Windows 11:

Step 1: Open Settings

Click on the Start Menu button on your taskbar or use the keyboard shortcut Windows + I to open the Settings app.

Step 2: Go to Time & Language

In the Settings app, click on the Time & Language tab from the left sidebar.

Step 3: Change Date & Time Settings

Scroll down to the Date & Time section and click on the Change button.

Step 4: Set the Time

In the Date & Time settings, set the time by clicking and holding the up or down arrows next to the hours, minutes, and seconds fields. You can also use your keyboard to manually type in the correct time.

Step 5: Set the Time Zone

To change the time zone in Windows 11, click on the Time zone drop-down menu and select the appropriate time zone. You can also enable the “Set time zone automatically” option to automatically adjust your computer’s clock based on your location.

Step 6: Restart Your Computer

Once you’ve made the necessary changes to the system time and time zone, click on the Save button and restart your computer to apply the changes.

Conclusion

Changing the time in Windows 11 is a straightforward process that can be completed in just a few clicks. It’s important to ensure that your computer’s time and time zone settings are accurate, as they can affect the synchronization of your files and applications. By following the above steps, you can easily adjust your computer’s clock and time zone to keep it in sync with your region’s time standards.
