How to Change the Taskbar Color in Windows
Changing the taskbar color in Windows can personalize and enhance your desktop experience. To change your taskbar color, follow these steps:
1.Right-click on your desktop and select “Personalize.” This will take you to the personalization section of your settings.
2.Click on “Colors” in the left-hand menu.
3.Scroll down to “Choose your color” and select either “Light,” “Dark,” or “Custom.” Choose “Custom” to access both light and dark mode settings with more options for colors.
4.Under “Choose your default Windows mode,” select “Dark” if you want the taskbar to have a color. The taskbar is not affected by color selection in “Light” mode.
5.Below that, under ‘Choose your accent color’, pick a color from the Windows colors, or click on ‘Custom color’ for more options.
6.Ensure that the checkbox labeled “Start, taskbar, and action center” is ticked; this applies your chosen accent color to the taskbar.
7.If you want the color to be prominent regardless of your wallpaper, slide ‘Make Start, taskbar, and action center transparent’ to ‘Off.’
