How to Change the Image Text Wrapping in Google Docs
Google Docs is a great tool for creating and editing documents, but sometimes it can be frustrating when you can’t get the text to wrap around an image exactly as you want it to. Luckily, changing the image text wrapping in Google Docs is easier than you might think.
The first step is to insert the image you want to wrap the text around. To do this, click on “Insert” in the top menu bar, then select “Image” from the dropdown menu. You can choose to upload an image from your computer, select an image from your Google Drive, or insert an image from a web address. Once you’ve selected your image, it will appear in your document.
Now it’s time to change the text wrapping options for the image. Click on the image to select it, then click on the “Wrap text” icon in the toolbar above the document. This icon looks like a square with text wrapping around it. A dropdown menu will appear below it with four options:
– “Inline” – This option keeps the image inline with the text and doesn’t wrap the text around it.
– “Wrap text” – This option wraps the text around the image, but doesn’t make any adjustments to the placement of the image or the amount of space between the image and the surrounding text.
– “Break text” – This option breaks the text and moves it below the image, creating a larger gap between the text above and below the image.
– “Behind text” – This option places the image behind the text, so the text appears in front of it. This is useful if you want to create an overlapping effect with other images or shapes in your document.
Choose the “Wrap text” option to wrap the text around the image. If you’re not satisfied with the placement of the image or the amount of space between the image and the surrounding text, you can adjust these settings by clicking on the image, then selecting “Image options” from the toolbar. Here, you can adjust the alignment of the image (left, center, or right), as well as the margins around the image to create additional space for the text.
