Capturing and sharing screenshots and video clips on the Xbox Series X and Series S has never been easier. This guide will walk you through the process step by step, so you can get back to gaming in no time.

1. Capture a screenshot or video clip:

To capture a screenshot or video clip on the Xbox Series X or Series S, follow these simple steps:

a. Press the “Share” button on your Xbox controller. This button is located just above the D-pad.

b. For capturing a screenshot, press the Share button once. For recording video – hold down the Share button for a few seconds.

c. The console will automatically capture your gameplay at that moment.

2. Access your captured content:

To view or manage your captured screenshots and clips, follow these steps:

a. Press the “Xbox” button on your controller to bring up the Guide menu.

b. Navigate to “Capture & Share” tab which is represented by a circular camera icon.

c. Here, you will find all of your recent captures organized by type (screenshots or video clips).

3. Share your content:

Once you have captured and accessed your screenshots and video clips, it’s time to share them with friends or on social media platforms. To share your captures, do the following:

a. From the Capture & Share tab in the Guide menu, select the capture you would like to share.

b. Press “A” to open up more options for that specific capture.

c. Select “Share to…” from the available options list.

d. Choose one of the available sharing options such as sending it directly to a friend via an Xbox message, or posting it on various social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

4(Optional). Edit your content:

For more advanced users, you can edit your screenshots and video clips using the “Upload Studio” app which is available on your console. This will allow you to add narration, titles, stickers and even combine multiple clips into one. Simply download the app from the Microsoft Store and follow its instructions to edit and share your captures.

Conclusion:

Capturing and sharing your gaming highlights has never been easier on the Xbox Series X and Series S with built-in screenshot capturing and video clip recording integrations. By following these simple steps, you will be able to showcase your best gaming moments for friends or followers to see.
