How to Beat Guardians in Zelda: BOTW

In “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” guardians are tough enemies that can be found throughout the game. They are robotic creatures that shoot lasers at Link, the game’s protagonist. Fortunately, there are ways to beat them. Here’s how:

First, it’s important to understand how guardians work. They have three types of attacks: a straight laser beam, a sweeping laser beam, and a spin attack. The straight laser beam is the most dangerous, as it can one-hit kill Link if he doesn’t have enough health. The sweeping laser beam covers a wider area, but it’s less powerful. The spin attack is a close-range attack, but it can be avoided easily.

One way to beat guardians is to use the parry move. This move can be done by pressing the A button at the right moment when the guardian is about to shoot its laser beam. Link will hold up his shield and deflect the beam back at the guardian, dealing significant damage. However, this move requires good timing and practice.

Another way to defeat guardians is by using arrows. You can shoot arrows at the guardian’s eye, which is its weak spot. This will stun the guardian, giving you enough time to attack it with your sword or other weapons. However, you need a good aim and strong arrows to take down a guardian quickly.

If you’re having trouble aiming, you can use the Stasis rune. This rune can freeze guardians in place for a short period, allowing you to hit their weak spots more easily. Use this rune when the guardian is about to attack, and you’ll have enough time to line up your shot.

Finally, you can use ancient weapons and armor to make the battle easier. These weapons and armor are obtained from ancient shrines and will deal extra damage to guardians. They are also more durable than other weapons and can withstand several hits from the guardians.

In conclusion, guardians can be challenging enemies in “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” but with a bit of practice and the right strategy, they can be beaten. Use parries, arrows, the Stasis rune, and ancient weapons and armor to take them down quickly and efficiently. Good luck, and happy hunting!
