Here at the top of our list, nothing says fall in Utah like a trip to one of the state’s lush pumpkin patches. As the leaves start to turn and the air gets crisp, families, friends, and pumpkin enthusiasts alike will find there’s no shortage of spots to pick the perfect gourd for Halloween or harvest-themed decorations. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly atmosphere, a romantic autumn outing, or just the perfect pumpkin for your pie or jack-o’-lantern, Utah’s got you covered. Let’s dive into the 9 absolute best pumpkin patches in Utah to enjoy in 2024.

First up is Mabey Farms in South Jordan. Known for its incredible variety of pumpkins and family activities, Mabey Farms offers a quintessential fall experience complete with hayrides and a corn maze. Close behind is Jaker’s Jack-O-Lanterns in Springville. This place rings in the season with its engaging petting zoo and massive collection of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes.

For those who love a good scare, Black Island Farms in Syracuse features a chilling haunted corn maze alongside their vast pumpkin patch – it’s harvest fun meets Halloween fright! Meanwhile, Pack Farms in Farmington presents a more laid-back vibe with its scenic hayrides and an excellent selection of pumpkins.

Glen Ray’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Spanish Fork steps it up with their Fall Festival that promises bushels of fun for all ages including pony rides and tasty treats to keep you going as you search for that perfect pumpkin. Not far behind is Wilkerson Farm in Orem which delights visitors with a vibrant market filled with local produce and sprawling fields ripe for picking.

McCoard’s Mystery Maze

Entering the charming atmosphere of McCoard’s Mystery Maze in Provo is like stepping into an autumnal wonderland. Children laugh through the zany zipline adventures while couples stroll through a gorgeous array of pumpkins under the backdrop of majestic mountain views.

Cross E Ranch

Next on our list is Cross E Ranch in Salt Lake City; this working farm evolves into a pumpkin-picking paradise each fall. They take agritainment seriously with their annual Fall Festival that includes a little bit of everything: live music, delicious BBQ, pig races, and acres upon acres of pumpkins.

Schmidt’s Farm

Last but certainly not least is Schmidt’s Farm in West Point. As one of Utah’s oldest farms, they bring generations of expertise to their craft. The result? A sprawling selection that features some of the most unique pumpkin varieties you’re likely to find anywhere—perfect for those looking to carve something truly out-of-the-ordinary this Halloween.

Each patch has its own unique charm offering an abundance of activities and plenty of pumpkins to choose from—ensuring your fall festivities are unforgettable.
