The Genesis GV90 is an upcoming all-electric luxury SUV from Hyundai‘s premium brand, Genesis. While official details are limited as of early 2023, the GV90 is expected to be the flagship electric SUV in the Genesis lineup, positioned above the existing GV60 and electrified GV70.

Anticipated Features:

  • Size: Full-size luxury SUV, likely with three rows of seating
  • Platform: Expected to use Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform)
  • Range: Likely to exceed 300 miles on a single charge
  • Performance: Dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration probable
  • Luxury: High-end materials and cutting-edge technology features
  • Design: Likely to incorporate Genesis‘ “Athletic Elegance” design language

The GV90 is expected to showcase the pinnacle of Genesis‘ electric vehicle technology and luxury features. As a full-size SUV, it will likely offer spacious seating for up to seven passengers, along with ample cargo space.

In terms of design, the GV90 is anticipated to feature Genesis‘ signature two-line lighting elements, a large closed-off grille, and a sleek, aerodynamic profile optimized for electric propulsion. The interior is expected to offer a lounge-like atmosphere with premium materials and advanced technology integration.

Performance-wise, the GV90 will likely feature a dual-motor setup providing all-wheel drive, with potential for a high-performance variant. The use of the E-GMP platform suggests it will support fast charging capabilities, potentially adding hundreds of miles of range in just minutes.

As Genesis‘ flagship electric SUV, the GV90 will compete with other luxury electric SUVs from established brands like Tesla, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. It represents Genesis‘ ambition to establish itself as a major player in the premium electric vehicle market, showcasing the brand’s commitment to electrification and sustainable luxury.
