Spread the love

Movies are a great way to escape from reality and unwind. However, watching movies alone can become boring and monotonous. Whether you are in a long-distance relationship, have friends living in different cities, or simply need a break with your family or friends, watching movies together online is a fantastic way to spice things up. Here are some of the best ways to watch movies together online.

Netflix Party

Netflix Party, a Google Chrome extension, is a fantastic way to watch movies together online. The extension synchronizes the movie playback for everyone watching so that you can all watch the movie at the same time, no matter where you are. Moreover, it includes a chatroom feature that enables everyone to communicate with each other while watching the movie.

Disney+

Another great way to watch movies together online is through Disney+. The streaming service provides access to many Disney classics and modern hits, including Pixar and Marvel movies. It also offers a group-watch feature where you can watch movies with up to six people. With Disney+, you can share your favorite movies and shows with your family and friends from the comfort of your own home.

Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video offers a watch party feature for all of its subscribers called Watch Party. It is a more private option as it does not require a browser extension. Friends and family can enjoy watching movies while chatting about the films via Amazon’s Private Chat feature. It currently offers a limited selection of movies, but the library is expanding.

Rave

Rave is an application that can be downloaded for free onto your phone or tablet. The app allows you to watch movies, TV shows, and listen to music with friends in real-time. Rave supports popular platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video. It’s easy-to-use interface allows you to link your accounts and start watching with friends in minutes.

Hulu

Hulu subscribers can now enjoy Watch Party, a new feature that helps people watch movies online with others. With this feature, you can watch the movie or TV show simultaneously with up to eight people while chatting with each other. One advantage of Hulu Watch Party is that it doesn’t require additional software.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
